David Kelly Legal is a specialist independent consultancy established in 2014. We have assisted law firms of all sizes in the UK: London-based, national and regional, and boutique as well as full-service. We have also worked with international practices, in jurisdictions such as Russia, Switzerland, Greece, Bulgaria, Hong Kong and Singapore.

David graduated from Oxford University in 1993 with a degree in English and French, then trained, qualified and practised as a solicitor with a leading UK law firm, working in the area of corporate and commercial.

In 2003 David joined Legalease, publisher of the Legal 500 series, and worked for the company for over ten years. As a researcher, he covered markets across the world including the UK, the Republic of Ireland, Spain, Iceland and Hong Kong. He was editor of the company’s flagship Legal 500 UK edition from 2006 to 2013.
